After waiting almost 6 months for our wedding photos, Kristin and I felt like photographers can do better! We decided that we were willing to “be the change we wanted to see” and started Cadence of Grace. For longer than we can remember, we have been a part of making love stories possible! After 15+ years of being involved in weddings in other capacities (i.e. planner, officiant, decorator and pre-marital counselor), we found a passion for being behind the camera and delivering beautiful images that capture moments that would otherwise be lost to time! To say that we are thrilled with our photos from Cadence of Grace is an understatement. We expected nice photos we would look back on fondly, maybe a few we could hang on the wall to decorate our home. We did not expect to be blown away by how well Jake captured our family, catching our personalities and family dynamic in each frame. We have repeatedly gone through the photos, finding it difficult choosing which ones to print because they are ALL our favorites. And there are so many! The attention to detail, the artistic eye, the capturing of the tempo of our family, all incredibly difficult aspects to do individually, Jake was able to do it all in each photo. Responsiveness, adjustability, deep listening to really understand what we were looking for, and the turnaround time for final proofs was much quicker than anticipated.
